NARROW WIN FOR TCA

At Tirupur, a fine allround show by S. Kaarthi (four for 63 & 80) enabled Tirupur Cricket Academy (TCA) score a one-wicket win over Bradman Cricket Club in the TNCA-DCAT first division league for the Nachimuthu Rolling Trophy at the Government Arts College grounds in Udumalpet recently.
The scores:

 Bradman CC 260 for seven in 50 overs (G. Ranjith 48, V. Nagaraj 55, A. Stephen 64, S. Kaarthi four for 63) lost to Tirupur CA 262 for nine in 49.4 overs (M. Kathirvel 61, S. Kaarthi 80, P. Subramani 32, N. Marimuthu three for 47).


Tirupur CC 235 in 47.4 overs (Sivaraj Mohan 42, P. Rathinakumar 40, P. Sathish Prabhu 63, M. Mohan Kumar 39) bt Maruthi CC 115 in 32.5 overs (G. Karuppusamy 34, T. Hemanth Kumar five for 17);


 FNF CC 231 for eight in 50 overs (S. Karthick 74, S. Vinoth Kumar 44) bt Tirupur Textiles RC 207 in 47.5 overs (P. Karthikeyan 39, G. Saranprethium 56, S. Jayakumar 35, S. Ganeshan four for 32);



AJAY SCALPS FIVE

S. Ajay Vikram (five for 10) bowled a brilliant spell as Srinivasa Vidhyalaya MHSS posted a 10-wicket win over St. Joseph’s MHSS in the DCAT School League tournament for the Natarajan Rolling Trophy at the Migros Kids School grounds in Tirupur recently.

The scores:
Secretary XI 133 in 29.4 overs (Pradosh Ranjan Paul 43, M. Manikandan four for 49) lost to President XI 134 for six in 26.3 overs (N.S. Yuvan Shankar 33); 

St. Joseph’s MHSS 104 in 26.2 overs (S. Ajay Vikram five for 10, M. Arjun three for 8) lost to Srinivasa Vidhyalaya MHS 106 for no loss in 18.1 overs (G. Jagath Prabhu 51).
