II div.: 

Jupiter CA 158 in 46.5 overs (A. Ganeshan 30, A. Stephen five for 28, T. Arun four for 42) lost to Bradman CC 162 for five in 31.3 overs (T. Manoj Kumar 37, F. Shajiq Ali 35, V. Nagaraj 38 not out).

GIO SC 194 for eight in 50 overs (T. Rajagopal 96, M. Prakash 30 not out) bt Maruthi CC 168 in 46.4 overs (G. Karuppusamy 70).

Ranjith, Rahul sizzle

Ranjith and Rahul scored useful half centuries as DCAT President’s XI defeated TEA Public School by 88 runs in the DCAT school league at the TTP Mills grounds recently.

The scores: DCAT President’s XI 191 for four in 30 overs (Ranjith 50, Ajith 30, Rahul 57, Pradosh Ranjan Paul 35) bt TEA Public School 103 for nine in 30 overs (Nithesh 40, Ranjith three for 19).
