Avatar CC is knockout champion

Avatar Cricket Club defeated Miracles CC by 13 runs and emerged the champion in the DCAT league entry knockout tournament here recently.

Both the finalist qualified to play in the DCAT third division league for the forthcoming season.

The scores:

 Avatar CC 193 for seven in 30 overs (L. Vignesh 59, M. Krishna Sankar three for 19, S. Rahul three for 39) beat  Miracles CC 180 for nine in 30 overs (R. Velmurugan 46, S. Lakshmanan 38, R. Rajesh 39, P. Dinesh Kumar four for 29).
