Narrow win for TCA 2012
Ajay Singh Rathore and Amutha Kannan picked up three
wickets apiece as TCA 2012 edged out Youth Fires by three runs in the
DCAT league entry knockout tournament here recently.

bt Youth Fires 126 for eight in 30 overs (Ajay Singh Rathore three for
12, Amutha Kannan three for 15);
2.Tirupur CF 193 for six in 30 overs (M.
Anbarasan 69, S. Harish 39) bt Junior Indian CC 122 in 25.5 overs
(Satheesh Kumar three for 25).
3.Ball Breakers CC 183
for eight in 30 overs (Rajagopal 48, Yuvaraj 43 not out, Ilayaraja three
for 21) bt RCC CC 179 for nine in 30 overs;
4. Maruthi CA ‘B’ 179 for five
in 30 overs (S. Dhamotharan 87 not out) bt Scorpions CC 168 in 28.2
overs (Karthick 63, Siva three for 41).
5.Revengers CC
138 in 30 overs (C. Vijayakumar 31, J. Rabin 36 not out) lost to Silver
Angels CC 142 for three in 24 overs (D. Balaji 48 not out);
6. Thrillers
138 in 27.5 overs (K. Sathish three for 24) lost to Miracles CC 141 for
six in 28.5 overs (D. Nagarajan 33).
