RESULTS AS ON "13-01-13"

 
Charms crowned CHAMPIONS in the  "second division" by defeating
Tcc "A".    charms cc  won 8 matches out of 9  same as velusamy cc but head to head ,charms defeat velusamy cc so  they crowned champions . on  anther match LMCC  defeat Stunners cc and retain its place in the second division .Stunners out of second division and relegate to third division .

DCAT  announced its District senior team for "S.S. Rajan Trophy "
senior inter- district cricket tournament .
Four  TCA players find their place in that team. SENNIYAPPAN of TTRC will lead the team and MOHAN of TCC will be his deputy  .

"TSC Challenger Trophy" cricket tournament

Swastik Cricket Promoters (Chennai) emerged the champion outfit of the TSC Challenger Trophy cricket tournament at the Park College grounds recently.
The scores: Final: Tirupur School of Cricket 177 for two in 30 overs (Thiyagarajan 71, Pradosh R. Paul 60) lost to Swastik Cricket Promoters (Chennai) 181 in 28.5 overs (Karan Rahul 37, Santhosh Kumar 35, Dinesh Kumar 31). Third place: RRCF (Vellore) 170 for five in 30 overs lost to Pearl City CA 171 (Alagu Karthik 43, Reeman 59).
Special awards: Man of the match and best bowler: Santhosh Kumar (Swastik CP); best batsman: Alagu Karthik (Pearl City CA); best all-rounder: Jonty Rhodes (Pearl City CA); best fielder: Hari Bharathi (Tirupur School of Cricket); best wicketkeeper: Ganesh (FICA, Hosur); man of the series: Thiyagarajan (Tirupur School of Cricket).

At Salem’, Tirupur, in only its second year, pulled off a stunning two-wicket win over Madurai and enter  semi final . Medium-pacer A. Mohammed Safi did the bulk of the damage by returning figures of six for 45.

The scores: quarterfinals:

At Salem: Madurai 177 in 39.4 overs (K. Manibharathi 51, A. Mohammed Safi six for 45) lost to Tirupur 179 for eight in 45.5 overs (M. Mohan 51, P. Subramani 32, S. Madanraj three for 41).

 The scores: Pre-quarterfinals:
 Namakkal 154 in 44 overs (R.S. Karthik 56, B. Gobi six for 48) lost to Tirupur 157 for eight in 46.5 overs (N. Suresh four for 27).
