Tirupur textiles recreation club (TTRC) post 4 wicket win over Tirupur cricket club (TCC )and GEO sports club beat STANES CC in similar margin in the TNCA-DCAT first division league for the Nachimuthu Rolling Trophy at the TEA Public School grounds and govt arts college ground udumelpet recently.
At TEA Public School ground TTRC register their first win against TCC after four attempts (2in league and 2in T/20 ).
When match begins TCC looks strong and winning history behind us (4consecutive wins against ttrc )they start strongly ,and at one stage their score was 60 for 2 in 15 overs. TTRC which have 5 district players in their team, comes back strongly and their spin duo 'ravi' and 'Kennedy' bowl brilliantly, especially ravi's bowling looks unplayable on his day he got 4 for 18 from 9 overs and Kennedy ends with 4 for 35in 8 overs and restrict TCC to mere 127 in 35+ overs .
Chasing 128 in 50 overs was an easy task for TTRC wich have strong batting line up. They never allowed opponent to dominate and chased the target easily losing only 6 wickets, and register their first win over TCC in the DCAT league.
Looks like an upset in the other battle between geo vs stanes at udumelpet . Stanes taste their first defeat as geo captain bhupinder madan bowls accurately took 5 wickets and put stanes in deep trouble they all out for 96 . chasing 97in low scoring match was not an easy one but never say die attitude geo team finaly made with losing 6 wickets .
With this win GEO also in tiltle race along with STANES ,TTRC and defending champion TCA
