Surender and Karthi slam centuries in Tirupur’s thumping win

Skipper G. Surender (104) and S. Kaarti (110) scored centuries as host Tirupur defeated Pudukottai by 156 runs in the TNCA under-19 inter-district cricket tournament at the TEA Public School grounds, here on Tuesday. It was Surender’s second successive century. The duo did well to help the team post 313 for eight in its allotted 50 overs. Pudukottai looked good at the start, but gave up midway through as Ajay Singh Rathore strike 4 for 13 in his  10 overs .
