play off begins this week

The first division play off between lucky star cc ,maruthi cricket academy,and gio sports begins this Sunday .

First match between Maruthi cc VS Gio sports played at Tea public school on coming Sunday(3-3-13).
The second match between Maruthi cc  VS lucky star cc at same venue on 10-3-13 and the last match between Lucky star VS Gio sports on 17-3-13.

The three teams fight for lonely place availble in the First division.

Lucky Star CC 158 in 19.5 overs (J. Prasanna 36, G. Jayakumar three for 24) bt Tirupur Textiles RC 148 for nine in 20 overs (K. Ganeshan 59, V. Bazeer Mohamed 50, K. Senthil four for 27).

DCAT KNOCK OUT TROPHY BEGINS

DCAT KNOCK OUT TROPHY FOR SELECTING TEAMS TO PLAY LEAGUE MATCHES   BEGINS IN MARCH THE LOST DATE FOR THE ENTRY WILL BE 28 FEBRUARY .
THE ENTRY FEE WILL BE RS.4000 / TEAM .
 LOST YEAR THERE WAS HUGE ENTRY'S AROUND 72 TEAMS  . THIS YEAR ALSO  
THE SAME NUMBERS  OF ENTRY'S WILL EXPECT.

The District Cricket Association of Tirupur (DCAT) invites entries from Tirupur district teams for the league entry knock out tournament for the year 2013-14. The last date for registration is February 28.

SEASON CONTINUES AS GIO UPSET TCA..

2012-2013 season not ends ,it will continue as gio sports upset tca in a interesting match last sunday.
gio upset tca by 5 wickets thanks to timely 52 (no)from ansari helps his team to go for playoff  to retain its position in the first division.
lucky star, maruthi cricket academy and gio sports all ends its season with same points .
and they have to play once again(play off) to decide who will retain the one position available in the first division .
Play off schedule will come shortly.

The scores: 

Tirupur CA 147 in 38.5 overs (P. Subramani 41, D. Manikandan three for 32, R. Prabhakaran three for 31) lost to GIO  148 for five in 31 overs (G. Krishnamurthy 32, R. Ansari 52 not out, S. Santosh three for 37).
