 திருப்பூர் மாவட்டகிரிகெட் முதல்டிவிசன் போட்டியில் நேற்றுநடை பெற்ற

ஆட்டத்தில்  லக்கி ஸ்டார்  அணி ,கல்கி கிரிகெட்கிளப்  அணியை  13 ரன்கள்   வித்தியாசத்தில் வீழ்த்தியது.

இதன் மூலம் தனது புள்ளி கணக்கை 8 ஆகா உயர்த்தி 6 ம் இடத்திற்கு முன்னேறியது

TCA MATCH POSTPONED

Tirupur cricket academy  match postponed once again , This was second match postponed in this month the original schedule was against stanes cricket club on 29th January at TEA puplic school . Due to coca cola trophy finals held on that day at TEA public school is reason behind our postpone.

LUCKYSTAR LIFTS TROPHY

Lucky star cricket club beat charms cc dharapuram by Thrilling  6 runs at  tirupur on 26  th January. This is grand final match of  P.S. Govindasamy Rolling Trophy T20 cricket tournament conducted by DCAT 

The seesaw battle begins when charms won the toss and put  lucky star to bat first . Their decision looks wrong when lucky star opener nizam and prem fired boundaries right from the beginning but seasoned fast bowler safiq remove  nizam in the 6th over but   lucky star that time all ready put 50 runs on board..  but controlled and discipline bowling from charms put lucky star to  70 for 3 in 10 overs.

 

The second 10 overs lucky star loss wickets in regular interval and finally they all out for 134 in 19.4 overs where ''right senthilkumar" and " premkumar"  contributed 28 and 37 runs .  

 

  Chasing 135 in 20 overs  charms dharapuram started brilliantly  with thier skipper Nachimuthu and tournament highest scorer Riaz  fly the ball all over the ground and  scored 53 runs in 6 overs.

But never say die attitude lucky star players fight back strongly and beautiful  bowling performance from senthilkumar and nizam in their first spell put charms cc 85 for 4 in 13 overs . But spirited charms fight back and they required only 16 runs from last 2 overs.

Once again  nizam and senthil bowled accurately  give away only 9 runs in last 2 overs and help their team  lift the trophy for first time.

Lucky star CC and Charms CC   storms into final

 Charms Cricket Club (Dharapuram), comprising of boys mostly from the rural segment, pulled off a surprise five-wicket win over Tirupur Textiles Recreation Club in a crucial semifinal clash of the P.S. Govindasamy Rolling Trophy T20 cricket tournament here on Monday, and other semifinal  "tamilselvan" and "magudapathi" once again performed  well against seasoned competitors  TCC'A' to take  luckystar cc  in to final

The final will be on 26th January, afternoon  at TEA public school 

The scores (semifinals) :

Tirupur CC ‘A' 129 for seven in 20 overs (Sivasakthi Kumar 30, Riyazudeen 40) lost to Lucky Star CC 130 for seven in 18.4 overs (Tamilselvan 40, Magudapathi 25, Ansarudeen three for 14, Marudhachalam three for 26).

Tirupur Textiles RC 141 for five in 20 overs (A. Ganesan 57, Basheer Mohammed 30) lost to Charms CC (Dharapuram) 142 for five in 19.5 overs (Riyaz 61, Jayakumar two for 25, Manikandan two for 160).
